August 8, 2004 - Months 5 and 6
OK, it has been forever since I updated. Much has happened and I have so many cute pictures to share. Carter has been to Minneapolis, California and Alaska. He is a good little traveler. He has been to parties, weddings, and entertained visitors. I promised my friend Julie Park that if she came to visit Portland, she would make the front page of the web site. So, let me take care of that first. Julie is a reading specialist. I joke that she is so good that she could teach Carter to read this year. She opted instead to read him a bed time story, Julie style. This is Homer’s Odyssey in the original Greek that Carter is enjoying. He seems pretty attentive. Julie traveled through on her way to Seattle where she will teach under our old principal, the amazing Kaaren Andrews.

We also got part of our infant care / birthing class together for a mini-reunion. Seven couples, all with babies within a month of each other. The adults had a great time, but the pictures of the kids say it all. I’m just putting the two cutest here and posting the others under extra pictures for the group to enjoy Carter is in the bottom middle (hey, I took the picture).
